The Mongol Khan Comes to Singapore
“The Mongol Khan to Start International Tour in Singapore”
After a successful run of 17 performances at The London Coliseum in front of more than 42,000 people, “The Mongol Khan” is gearing up for its international tour, with the first stop being Singapore on October 17. The renowned cultural company, Base Entertainment, based in Singapore, will co-produce and invest in the play, with the contract officially reviewed on March 19.
Chantal Prud’homme, CEO of Base Entertainment, expressed her excitement about bringing Broadway-quality Asian excellence to Singapore, stating that watching the performance at The London Coliseum last November confirmed that this was the perfect fit for their vision. The Sands Theater at Marina Bay Sands Complex has selected four major performances from world theaters this year, including “Matilda,” “Hamilton,” “Miss Saigon,” and “The Mongol Khan.”
For the first time at the Marina Bay Sands complex, which attracts 45 million visitors annually and is a major tourist destination, the Mongolian drama will be showcased for four weeks. This international exposure will not only be a significant milestone for the production but also serve as a fantastic opportunity to promote Mongolia’s rich culture on a global scale.
