The Revival of BRTK’s Political Academy Program
The Rebirth Party (YDP) recently launched the Politics and Diplomacy Academy program aimed at young politicians and leadership candidates. The opening event took place at the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) Conference Hall, where speeches were delivered by Nicosia District Chairman Ali Birsen, General Secretary Erşah Sabit Yılmaz, and YDP General Chairman Erhan Arıklı.
Ali Birsen emphasized the importance of the academy in providing theoretical and practical knowledge of politics to the youth. He highlighted the goal of nurturing young leaders who will contribute to the party and national politics in the future. Erşah Sabit Yılmaz focused on transferring the core values and political vision of YDP to younger generations through the academy.
YDP Chairman Erhan Arıklı shared the party’s founding principles and its vision for the future. He stressed the importance of equipping the youth with both theoretical knowledge and political vision to shape the future of the Turkish Cypriot people. The academy, which will run for 6 weeks on Saturdays, will offer 12 courses on politics, diplomacy, and leadership, with participants receiving certificates upon completion.
By organizing the Politics and Diplomacy Academy, YDP aims not only to educate young individuals on the party’s ideology but also to encourage their active involvement in the political landscape of the country. This initiative seeks to empower the youth to become influential leaders in the future of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
