Dozens of Corpses and Injured People in Rafah as Hospitals Targeted by Israel
In a recent statement by Suheyb al-Hemas, Director of the Kuwait Hospital in Rafah, disturbing news has emerged about the dire situation in the city. According to Hemas, there are numerous corpses lying on the streets of Rafah, with many injured individuals unable to receive medical assistance due to the ongoing attacks.
The Kuwait Hospital, which had been previously evacuated, was targeted by Israeli forces, leading to a massive fire that engulfed a significant portion of the building. Hemas described the health situation in Rafah as “catastrophic”, highlighting the fact that all hospitals in the area are currently out of service as a result of the military assaults.
Accusing Israel of directly attacking hospitals and rendering them inoperable, Hemas called on the international community to step in and take action against the atrocities being committed in Rafah. He urged for an immediate halt to the genocidal war on Gaza and pleaded for the provision of fuel and medical aid to the hospitals in desperate need.
