Thieves Rob 1 Kilo of Gold and Murder Jeweler
A jeweler was tragically killed after being followed and robbed of 1 kilo of gold in the 50th Year Neighborhood. The incident took place on 2202nd Street around 8:45 pm when the foreign national jeweler, identified as MM, was returning home after leaving his shop.
According to reports, two armed men followed MM to his house and demanded the gold he was carrying. Despite MM’s resistance, the suspects opened fire, injuring him in the legs and head. Medical teams rushed to the scene and transported MM to the hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, authorities launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects who fled with the stolen gold. Security camera footage captured the moment of their escape, aiding in the search for the perpetrators.
