Tragic Discovery of Missing Man’s Body in Car Crash
A citizen in the Ortaköy District of Turkey made a harrowing discovery when they saw a car crashed into a stream bed at the Tahtalı Köprü location. They immediately called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the situation. Gendarmerie and medical teams quickly arrived at the scene and found the body of a man in the vehicle.
After conducting an investigation, authorities determined that the body belonged to Ahmet Çatalkaya, who had been reported missing by his family just 3 days earlier. Çatalkaya lived 40 kilometers away from the accident site, and his tragic discovery has left the community in mourning.
Çatalkaya’s body has been taken to the morgue of Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The Gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the accident to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.
