TMSF: Dilan Polat Explains Process of Opening New Branches
The opening of a new branch by Dilan Polat has caused quite a stir. Many were curious how the new branch openings were taking place while she and her husband were in prison and their companies were managed by trustees. The Operations Manager of Dilan Polat Beauty Center, Melih Zengin, stated that the branch was sold in mid-September but was not yet opened. The investigation into Dilan and Engin Polat, who are accused of money laundering, is ongoing, and a trustee was appointed to their company. Following this appointment, a new branch of Dilan Polat Beauty Center was opened in Kağıthane.
Branch Owner Berkecan Aslan claimed that they are investors and wanted to evaluate their investments through this brand. The opening received both reactions and criticisms, with some people viewing it as normal. Operations Manager Zengin stated, “Branch sales within SDIF continue where they left off.”
In a statement from SDIF, it was announced that Polatlar had signed the franchise agreement before the trustee. The statement also underlined that Polat Group companies had made brand rental agreements with many companies at home and abroad before the trustee was appointed, and that the parties’ reciprocal obligations continue. This new development in the Dilan-Engin Polat case may lead to a retrial.
