
Topukçuoğlu and Tülek Share Experiences

Families of earthquake victims criticize the respondents for not being fully accountable.
The trial of İsias Hotel, which is currently ongoing at the Adıyaman High Criminal Court, has been hearing statements from the families of the victims. The father of Mert Niyazi Topukçuoğlu, Mehmet Topukçuoğlu, who lost his life in the earthquake, expressed his dissatisfaction with the respondents. He mentioned that he found his son on the 4th night and recounted the harrowing experience of the rescue attempts.
Topukçuoğlu stated that their building was not properly equipped for evacuation, in contrast to the adjacent building. He also expressed his frustration with the delayed measures taken by the respondents. In addition, he criticized the defendants for not being detained in separate prisons and vowed to seek justice in the trial.
The uncle of Mert Niyazi Topukçuoğlu, Serhan Ahmet Bundak, also shared his experience with the court, revealing that the hotel collapsed towards the road and that they had discovered the room numbers attached to the money safes, which were the only intact items. Similarly, Mehmet Tülek, the father of Asya Tülek, who lost her life in the disaster, spoke out against the defendants, expressing his disbelief in their willingness to be held accountable.
The families of the victims continue to express their grievances and seek justice for their loved ones lost in the tragedy. The trial is ongoing as they seek answers and accountability from those responsible.
