
Töre at Champion Angels Commemoration Night Event

President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre, recently attended an event to commemorate the Champion Angels, an organization dedicated to supporting the education complex to be opened in Famagusta. The event was organized at Chamada Prestige Hotel and hosted by businessman Rabia Doğruyol and producer Nilay Gürsoy.
During his speech at the event, Töre expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the recent earthquake, especially the Champion Angels, and their grieving families. He emphasized the importance of being prepared for natural disasters like earthquakes, stating that better preparation could have potentially saved lives.
Töre also addressed the tragedy at İsias Hotel, where 72 people lost their lives. He stressed the importance of justice and accountability for such events, expressing that the punishments given are important in setting an example for others.
During the event, Töre also commented on his trust in the judiciary system in Turkey and expressed his support for initiatives that aim to keep the memory of the Champion Angels alive.
