Acting President Zorlu Töre Attends Graduation Ceremony at Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus Campus
Acting President and President of the Republican Assembly, Zorlu Töre, recently attended the graduation ceremony organized by Ankara Social Sciences University Northern Cyprus Campus. The event, held at Kyrenia Teachers’ House, was a momentous occasion for the graduate students as they celebrated their academic achievements.
During his speech at the ceremony, President Töre emphasized the unity of Turkish Cypriots with the Turkish Nation, stating that they are not separate entities. He also addressed the recent massacre in Gaza, criticizing the silence of so-called civilized countries and circles in the face of such brutality. Töre expressed his disappointment in the lack of humanity displayed in these situations and urged the graduating students not to be swayed by imperialists and colonialists, but to instead remain devoted to their country and nation.
Furthermore, President Töre made it clear that while they desire peace in Cyprus, they will not compromise on the sovereignty and independence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). He reaffirmed their commitment to protecting their nation’s autonomy.
After delivering his inspiring speech, President Töre presented diplomas and certificates of achievement to the successful graduates, congratulating them on their hard work and dedication.
