Töre Celebrates Holiday with Phone Call to Yılmaz and Gafarova
President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre, recently marked the occasion of Eid al-Adha by reaching out to key political figures in Turkey and Azerbaijan. Töre extended his well wishes for the holiday by making phone calls to Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz of Turkey and Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, Sahibe Gafarova.
In addition to his phone calls, Töre also celebrated the holiday by meeting with Cavanşir Feyziyev, Chairman of the TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Azerbaijani National Assembly, and Orhan Erdem, Chairman of the TRNC Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
During his meeting with Gafarova, Töre expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received in Baku while attending the General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkish States. Töre also took the opportunity to extend an invitation to Gafarova to visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
