President Zorlu Töre Meets with Turkish Maarif Foundation Country Representative Abdullah Yılmaz
President of the Assembly of the Republic, Zorlu Töre, recently welcomed the country representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Abdullah Yılmaz, along with his delegation. The meeting took place at the Parliament Hall of Honor and was highlighted by the significant contributions of the Turkish Maarif Foundation to the country’s education system.
During the reception, President Töre expressed his appreciation for the work of the Turkish Maarif Foundation and emphasized the importance of expanding its network in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). He commended the Foundation for operating 407 schools in 57 countries and expressed his pride in their achievements.
President Töre noted that the Turkish Maarif Foundation has educational institutions in Famagusta and Nicosia and expressed his desire for the organization to expand its activities to other regions of the country. He also stressed the importance of promoting national and spiritual values through their educational initiatives.
In response, Türkiye Maarif Foundation country representative Abdullah Yılmaz provided an overview of the Foundation’s work and initiatives. The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts between the two parties.
