Töre Welcomes Denktashist Thought Association Delegation
Deputy President and Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Zorlu Töre received the delegation of the Denktashist Thought Association headed by Akay Kamiloğlu.
During the visit, Akay Kamiloğlu, President of the Denktaşist Thought Association, expressed his intention to strengthen the ties between Turkey and the TRNC through various organizations established by the association.
The association, established in honor of the Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş, aims to follow in his footsteps and preserve the national identity and independence of the TRNC.
Zorlu Töre, President of the Assembly of the Republic, emphasized the importance of protecting the independence of the TRNC, established in 1983 following the 1974 Peace Operation. Töre highlighted that it is the duty of every Turk to safeguard the Republic and continue the legacy of Rauf Denktaş.
The meeting between the delegation and Töre signifies a commitment to the common national cause and the ongoing efforts to uphold the values and independence of the TRNC.
