Töre Welcomes Retired Policemen’s Association Delegation
President of the Republican Assembly, Zorlu Töre, recently met with the Retired Policemen Association to discuss the challenges and issues faced by police officers in Turkey. The delegation, led by Birol Atasü, was warmly welcomed by Töre at the Assembly Hall of Honor.
During the meeting, Töre highlighted the increasing burden on police officers due to the growing population and changing crime rates. Despite these challenges, Töre praised the dedication and commitment of the police force in fulfilling their duties effectively. He also mentioned that the police force remains one of the most trusted institutions in public opinion polls.
In addition to acknowledging the work of the Retired Policemen Association in supporting retired officers, Töre also assured that the concerns and problems of active-duty police officers would be addressed and prioritized.
To commemorate the occasion, gifts were exchanged between the delegation and Töre. The meeting served as a reminder of the importance of supporting and recognizing the efforts of law enforcement personnel in safeguarding communities and upholding public safety.
