Turkey Achieves 25,000 Barrels per Day Oil Production in Gabar Region
The Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) recently announced that it has reached a significant milestone in the Gabar region, with a production of 25,000 barrels of oil per day. In a post on TPAO’s social media account, the company expressed its dedication to achieving energy independence for Turkey.
“We are on duty with our entire team, day and night, mountain by stone, under the shadow of our star and crescent flag, towards our goal of an energy independent Turkey,” stated the post.
TPAO General Manager, Melih Han Bilgin, also spoke about the progress in a video showcasing the works in the oil field. Bilgin emphasized the value that this continuous production brings to the country’s economy and the corporation itself.
“Our goal by the end of the year is to increase our daily production to 35,000 barrels solely from the Gabar project,” stated Bilgin. Furthermore, he revealed an ambitious target for the end of 2024, aiming to achieve a remarkable production of 100,000 barrels per day exclusively from the Gabar project.
Bilgin reassured that the team is working tirelessly, day and night, harnessing every ounce of strength to achieve this ambitious target. The corporation is fully committed to utilizing its resources and expertise to contribute to the growth of Turkey’s energy sector.
The Gabar region has proven to be a vital asset in Turkey’s pursuit of energy independence. With its rich oil reserves and the ongoing efforts by TPAO, the country is taking significant steps towards reducing its dependency on foreign energy sources.
As Turkey continues its journey towards becoming a regional energy hub, these achievements in the Gabar region serve as a testament to the country’s determination and commitment. With the support of its dedicated team, TPAO strives to not only meet national demand but also become a supplier of energy resources to the region.
The future looks promising for Turkey’s energy sector, and the Gabar project is key to realizing this potential. With the continuous efforts towards increased production, Turkey aims to secure a self-sufficient energy supply that will reinforce its economic stability and drive further development in the years to come.
