Tractor Split in Half in Collision at Sandıklı Intersection
An unfortunate accident took place at the exit of Sandıklı district, leaving several people injured. The incident occurred when a tractor, bearing the license plate number 09 ADV 409 and driven by Ş.Ö., collided with two cars at the intersection. The cars involved in the collision were identified as being driven by İ.Y. with the license plate number 03 AFB 42, and Ş.B. with the license plate number 34 COG 120. The exact cause of the collision remains unknown.
As a result of the impact, both cars lost control and ended up in a nearby ditch. However, the tractor was split in half. The rear part of the vehicle remained in the middle of the road, while the front part fell into the ditch. The severity of the accident prompted concerned citizens to inform emergency services and fire brigade teams. In response, numerous 112 Emergency services and fire brigade teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene.
Rescue teams arrived at the accident site promptly and attended to the injured drivers of the vehicles, identified as SK and CY. Both individuals were then safely transported to Sandıklı State Hospital by ambulance.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident. The security forces will examine the circumstances leading up to the collision to determine the exact cause.
