Traffic Alerts: Road Closures in Istanbul
The Governor’s Office has announced a new traffic decision that will be in effect from 16.00 today until 08.00 tomorrow in Istanbul. Several roads will be closed during this time period to ensure smooth traffic flow in the city.
According to the announcement, the following roads will be closed: Abide-i Hürriyet Street Central Street intersection, Çağlayan direction, Darüceze Street and Çiftecevizler Street intersection of Hürriyettepe direction, Stone Ocağı Street and Kurşun Street Integration, Eğitim Street and Esin Sokak-Manolya Street intersection, and all roads to Şevket Paşa Street, Piyalepaşa Bulvarı D-100 Bulvari D-100 Bulvari D-200 North Street.
As an alternative to the closed roads, drivers can use Çiftcevizler Street, Sıracevizler Street, Abide-i Hürriyet Street Şişli direction, Halaskargazi Street, Sisli Büyükdere Street, Darüceze Street, Vatan Street, Kağıthane Street and D-100 road.
In addition to road closures, the Çağlayan Station of Yıldız-Mahmutbey Metro Line has also been closed for business. Metro Istanbul announced that vehicles will continue to stop at this station until further notice.
