Tragic Incident in Ceyhan: Mother of Five Stabbed During Domestic Dispute
In a distressing incident that unfolded early yesterday morning in the Sahin Ozbilen neighborhood of Ceyhan, a mother of five, Rabia Sen, was fatally stabbed during an argument with her estranged husband, Serdar Sen. The altercation took place at their residence on 263 Street at approximately 3:30 AM.
According to reports, the couple, who were in the midst of a divorce, had previously reconciled but found themselves embroiled in yet another dispute. Following the stabbings, police and medical emergency teams were called to the scene. Upon arrival, medical personnel assessed Rabia Sen’s condition, but sadly, despite immediate intervention at Ceyhan State Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
The legal process began promptly, with the duty prosecutor conducting an examination at the scene. Subsequently, Rabia Sen’s remains were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
Authorities have since apprehended Serdar Sen, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event is ongoing. The community is in shock as they come to terms with the loss of a mother whose life was violently cut short during a distressing domestic situation.
