Tragedy: Man Commits Suicide After Murdering 5
A Syrian national named Mustafa H. went on a killing spree in Üçoklar, Barak, and Vatan neighborhoods of Şahinbey district in Gaziantep. The incident, which shocked the community, began in a barbershop where Mustafa H. allegedly shot and killed one person before moving on to a house where he brutally murdered four more individuals. During the attack at the house, two people were also injured. Mustafa H., who was said to have psychological problems, then fled the scene.
After a pursuit by the police, the suspect ultimately ended his own life by shooting himself in the head at a different location. The bodies of the victims, some of whom were foreign nationals, were taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for identification. Those injured in the attacks were transported to various hospitals for treatment.
The investigation into this horrific incident is ongoing, and extensive security measures have been put in place by police at the locations where the crimes occurred.
