Tragic Accident on Ataköy Marmaray Overpass Results in Four Deaths
A devastating accident occurred on the Ataköy Marmaray overpass in the direction of Florya on Rauf Orbay Street, located on the Yeşilköy Coastal Road. On March 12, 2024, a truck’s trailer hit the base gate, causing it to overturn onto a car below. Tragically, four individuals lost their lives in the accident.
Unfortunately, this was not the end of the horror on this overpass. Another truck, this time loaded with a pickup truck, crashed into the same overpass – a location plagued by accidents in the past. The entire incident was captured on mobile phone footage, showcasing the chaotic and devastating scene.
