
Tragedy Strikes in Ankara: Multiple Fatalities in Massacre-like Accident

A Fatal Car Accident on Ankara-Istanbul Highway
A tragic accident occurred in Beypazarı Bozyaka District on the Ankara-Istanbul highway. The collision, which involved two cars, resulted in several fatalities and injuries. The car with plate number 06 NBH 56, driven by Ahmet Mayda, was heading towards Bolu when it collided head-on with the car driven by Mehmet Özsoy (plate number 06 DGG 781) before skidding.
Police, health, and fire brigade teams were quickly dispatched to the scene upon receiving notice from bystanders. Tragically, during the paramedics’ check-up, it was determined that 74-year-old Hasan Ulus and 62-year-old Mehmet Özsoy had lost their lives. Following the initial intervention, Sabri Işık, Nuh Mayda, Mithat Ertürk, and Ahmet Mayda were taken to hospitals in Nallıhan and Ankara.
Despite the medical intervention, both Mithat Ertürk and Ahmet Mayda succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The treatment of Nuh Mayda and Sabri Işık is ongoing.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway. Our thoughts are with the victims, and we wish a swift recovery to the injured individuals.
