Tragic Accident in Bolu: Mineral Waters Flood Roads
A truck carrying mineral water overturned on the Mudurnu Akyazı highway in Bolu, causing a temporary closure of the road. The incident took place at night when the truck, traveling from Beypazarı to Akyazı, lost control and flipped over. Fortunately, the driver escaped unhurt as the mineral water bottles spilled onto the field and ditch. The broken bottles were visible at the scene.
Emergency response teams quickly arrived and redirected traffic to an alternate route via the old Mudurnu stone-cut highway. The gendarmerie called in a tow truck to remove the overturned vehicle and clear the road.
Despite the chaos caused by the accident, the driver emerged without any injuries. The authorities worked swiftly to ensure that the highway was reopened for traffic as soon as possible. Let’s all stay safe and vigilant on the roads to prevent such incidents from occurring.
