Tragic Accident: Two Killed as Truck Rolls 70 Meters
A tragic accident took place last night in the Yaylalı village of the district, resulting in the loss of two lives. The incident occurred when a truck with plate number 28 ABY 165 lost control on the plateau, veered off the road, and rolled for approximately 70 meters.
The accident was reported to the gendarmerie by witnesses, prompting the dispatch of gendarmerie and medical teams to the scene. Upon arrival, the teams discovered that Oktay Tozlu and Muhammer Öztürk, who were extracted from the truck, had tragically lost their lives.
Following an investigation by the prosecutor’s office, the bodies were transferred to the hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, the gendarmerie initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
In a separate incident in Bursa’s İnegöl district, a collision between two vehicles resulted in injuries to the drivers and four individuals. The crash occurred at an uncontrolled intersection, involving a car with plate number 16 Y 0100 and another vehicle with plate number 60 AEA 135.
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to crash into a warehouse in a house’s garden before coming to a stop. The injured parties, including Taha T. (29) and Muhammet Sefa G. (27), were promptly transported to İnegöl State Hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the injured individuals were reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine the cause of the incident.
