Tragic Crash in Samsun: 5 Dead, Vehicles Unrecognizable
A tragic accident occurred in the Wednesday district of Samsun, resulting in the loss of five lives. The collision involved two cars, one travelling from Samsun towards ZA and the other in the opposite direction towards Samsun. The driver of the car with the plate number 06 DV 3250 lost control of the steering wheel and collided with the car with the plate number 33 TA 55 FA on the mid-refuge.
Among the casualties were GA (49) and AA (58), the drivers of the cars involved in the accident. Another passenger, EA (24), was seriously injured and was rushed to the Wednesday State Hospital for treatment. Despite all efforts, EA succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
The incident led to traffic restrictions on the Ordu-Samsun road, with authorities controlling the flow to a single lane. Wednesday District Governor Mehmet Kamil Sağlam arrived at the scene to oversee investigations and coordinate with emergency response teams.
