Tragic Death of Ceylin in Dog-Related Accident
A tragic accident occurred on May 16 in the Atakent District of Silifke, Turkey. Perihan Çiğdem was driving her family back from Silifke to Tarsus when the unexpected happened. In an attempt to avoid hitting a dog on the road, she lost control of the steering wheel and the car rolled over.
The accident left Perihan Çiğdem, her husband Barlas Çiğdem, and their two other children injured. However, the most devastating outcome was the loss of their daughter Ceylin Çiğdem’s life. Despite the medical interventions at Silifke State Hospital, the secondary school student could not be saved.
