Tragic Fire Claims Lives in 6-Storey Building in Şanlıurfa
A fire in a 6-storey building in Şanlıurfa’s Akçakale district resulted in a loss of life due to electrical contact. The incident caused panic as flames engulfed the entire building, trapping a young girl and a child on the balcony. Fortunately, they were saved by jumping onto a blanket held by surrounding citizens before the firefighters arrived at the scene.
The fire, allegedly caused by electrical contact on the 3rd floor of the building in Fevzi Çakmak District, quickly spread, leading to the dramatic rescue of the young girl and child. Mobile phone cameras captured the moment as they bravely jumped from the balcony to escape the flames.
Thankfully, with the intervention of firefighters, the fire was eventually extinguished, and the two individuals rescued were reported to be in good health. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched to determine the exact circumstances that led to this tragic incident.
