Tragic Giresun Traffic Accident Leaves 9 Lives Hanging in the Balance
A tragic traffic accident occurred at noon in the Çalça village of Dereli district in Giresun, resulting in nine people’s lives hanging in the balance. The collision involved two vehicles, one with the license plate 28 ED 081 driven by EB, and the other with the license plate 34 GIN 172 driven by SU, which collided head-on.
Following an investigation into the incident, it was revealed that alcohol tests conducted on the drivers came back negative. However, the passengers in the vehicles were not as fortunate. Those identified as EB, SB, AT, HT, and MS in the vehicle with plate number 28 ED 0814, and SU, BAU, SM, and MA in the vehicle with plate number 34 GIN 172, sustained injuries and were reported to be in critical condition.
