Tragic Incident: Girl Drowns in Decorative Pool Visiting Grandfather in Diyarbakır
A tragic incident occurred in the Kazancı Neighborhood of the Bismil district, resulting in the loss of a young girl’s life. Asel Lina Topuz, who was visiting her grandfather’s house with her family, accidentally fell into an ornamental pool while playing. Despite efforts to save her, Asel Lina tragically passed away at Bismil State Hospital.
Witnesses at the scene quickly pulled Asel Lina out of the water and alerted the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following initial aid measures, she was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, she could not be revived. Her body was then transferred to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for further investigation.
An official investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The community is devastated by this unfortunate event, and our thoughts are with Asel Lina’s family during this difficult time.
