Tragic Jeep Accident Results in 2 Fatalities and 2 Injuries
Two people tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Kumbağ District, when a jeep driven by LK crashed into a retaining wall. The incident resulted in the deaths of Namık Kemal University Faculty Member Nilda Turgut and Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital Specialist Dr. Emel Ersöz.
Emergency response teams, including health, fire brigade, and gendarmerie units, swiftly arrived at the scene upon receiving the alert. The bodies of the deceased were later taken to the morgue of Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital following an examination by the public prosecutor.
The driver, LK, and a passenger, AAG, who were both injured in the accident, were promptly transported to Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital for medical treatment. As a result of the crash, traffic on the highway was temporarily brought under control to manage the situation.
