Tragic Loss: Ayşenur Eygi’s Mother Killed in Pursuit of Peace
The Birden family is mourning the loss of their beloved daughter, Ayşenur, who was tragically martyred while working for peace in a foreign country. The family, including parents Şahin and Devran Birden, older brother Cemal Birden, and other relatives, gathered at their paternal home in Yeni Mahalle, Yatağan district of Muğla to accept condolences from well-wishers.
Rabia Birden, the mother of Ayşenur, expressed her deep sorrow at the loss of her daughter, describing her pain as indescribable and immense. She spoke of Ayşenur’s joyful and loving nature, highlighting her dedication to working for peace. Rabia Birden called for justice for her daughter, stating that Ayşenur’s blood should not go unavenged and those responsible for her death should be punished.
Despite the tragedy, Rabia Birden expressed gratitude for the support they have received from the Turkish government, including President Erdoğan and ministers who reached out to offer condolences and assistance. She emphasized the importance of seeking justice through legal means to prevent further tragedies like this from happening again.
Devran Birden, Ayşenur’s grandmother, also shared her grief, recounting the last time she saw her granddaughter 2.5 years ago. She described Ayşenur as a helpful and smart girl, who had a passion for aiding others through various charitable organizations. Devran Birden expressed regret that she did not have the chance to see Ayşenur again before her tragic death.
The Birden family will soon travel to Didim with relatives for the burial of Ayşenur, as they continue to mourn the loss of their beloved daughter and seek justice for her untimely death. The memory of Ayşenur’s selfless and loving personality will forever remain in the hearts of her family and those who knew her.
