Tragic Murder: Mother Throws Child Off Balcony
A tragic incident occurred in Galveston, Texas, as a 30-year-old man, Channel Yonko, was accused of throwing his 17-month-old daughter from a hotel balcony. The horrifying event took place in the morning, when the baby girl was found on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was unable to survive the fall.
Security footage captured the heartbreaking moment when the young girl fell from the third floor of the hotel. Following the incident, the mother of the child fled the scene but was apprehended by the police shortly after.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the woman, who worked at the hotel, was staying in room 217. Inside the room, authorities found a garbage bag containing a room key card, children’s clothing, snacks, and a knife. Tragically, the autopsy revealed that the baby girl had suffered three stab wounds.
Channel Yonko appeared in court facing aggravated murder charges in connection with his daughter’s death. He has been taken into custody. Additionally, the mother’s bail application was denied as the investigation continues into this heartbreaking case. The community is left in shock and mourning over this devastating tragedy.
