Tragic Murder: The Story of Ayşenur Halil
A 19-year-old young girl, Ayşenur Halil, was tragically murdered by Semih Çelik in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul. The shocking incident left the community in mourning as they tried to come to terms with the loss of a promising young life.
Ayşenur Halil was allegedly the new girlfriend of Semih Çelik, a butcher who brutally stabbed her to death at around 15.30 yesterday. The senseless act of violence has left many in shock and disbelief, wondering what could have led to such a heinous crime.
After the autopsy performed at the Forensic Medicine Institute, Halil’s body was received by her grieving relatives. She was laid to rest in Kartaltepe Cemetery after the noon prayer at Pazariçi Mosque in Gaziosmanpaşa today.
