Train collides with motorcycle during police chase
Police enforcement in Şehit Erkut Akbay Neighborhood, Dadaloğlu Boulevard took a dramatic turn when a motorcycle with no license plates tried to evade authorities.
The police teams attempted to stop the motorcycle carrying two individuals, but the suspects ignored the warning and fled, initiating a chase.
During the pursuit, the motorcycle overturned at a level crossing in the neighborhood as the police continued their efforts to stop the vehicle by using sirens. Unfortunately, a freight train passing through the level crossing collided with the motorcycle.
As a result of the accident, both suspects sustained injuries and were promptly attended to by medical teams following the police’s alert. Fortunately, their injuries were minor and they received outpatient treatment on the scene.
After the necessary medical interventions, the two suspects were taken into custody by the police. The incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with reckless behavior and the importance of obeying traffic rules and law enforcement.
