Turkey’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu, said that Turkey has already opened the New Silk Roads and is connecting Trabzon Port to the Persian Gulf. Speaking at the Trabzon Business World Meeting program, Karaismailoğlu responded to the words of opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who had said that they would revive the Historical Silk Road. Karaismailoğlu highlighted Turkey’s visionary projects, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line and the Marmaray, which have connected Turkish cities to the Middle East and Asia, and said that Turkey is making history.
The Minister stated that the plans are clear, and Turkey is making a master plan for the coming years, and they are planning for 2053 and 2071. Recent agreements have been made with the Turkic republics, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Hungary, to increase capacity on the middle corridor and transfer the load from the road to the railway. Karaismailoğlu emphasized that Turkey is becoming one of the fastest-growing countries in the world, thanks to these investments and projects.
The Minister further stated that the investment environment has been made for years, and Turkey has paved the way by making the right investments at the right time. Turkey has made investments in the tourism sector that have attracted tourists from all over the world, including the Middle East. Karaismailoğlu said that in a change of power, it is impossible to see any of these tourists in Turkey.
The Minister reminded everyone that the opposition party had left projects unfinished, but Turkey had completed them and put them at the service of the nation. He urged people to vote for those who care about the growth and strengthening of their country. Karaismailoğlu warned that those who do not like Turkey and the enemies of Turkey support the opposition party. Turkey is making master plans for the future, which will help the country grow further and become stronger.
