TRNC: A Full Member of TDT in Our Eyes – BRTK
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has stated that in the eyes of Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is already a full member of the Organization of Turkic States. Erdoğan made these remarks during a press conference held at Esenboğa Airport before his visit to the United States to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit in Washington.
During the press conference, Erdoğan emphasized the close relationship between the TRNC and Turkey, especially in light of their mutual participation in the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Shusha on July 6. Erdoğan expressed Turkey’s commitment to further developing the TRNC’s status within the organization and strengthening its ties with other Turkish states.
