A Group of Industrialists From TRNC Attend Working Dinner in the UAE
A group of industrialists from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) recently attended a working dinner in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) while participating in the Gulfood Food Fair.
The dinner, which was organized by TRNC Abu Dhabi Representative Umut Koldaş, was also attended by presidents and bureaucrats of UAE business councils and Turkish Consul General Onur Şaylan, according to information provided by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry (KTSO).
During pre-dinner speeches, it was highlighted that Turkey’s commercial and economic influence in the UAE is growing, and that exporters from TRNC are serving as commercial ambassadors in the region. There was also an emphasis on the increasing development of Northern Cyprus in the field of exports, with a focus on expanding marketing and product sales in the region.
The importance of the TRNC’s participation in the Gulfood Food Fair was underscored, with an emphasis on the need to maintain uninterrupted presence to achieve continued success.
KTSO Vice President Mustafa Ersözlü expressed that the chamber’s goal is export-oriented, with plans to increase product diversity, particularly in the food processing sector. Elmas Kavunoğlu, the Industry Department Director, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the chamber and fair organizations for the development of commercial relationships.
The working dinner provided an important platform for TRNC’s industrialists to strengthen ties with UAE business counterparts and promote further collaboration between the two regions.
