“TRNC Launches 4th Five-Year Development Plan Meeting” – BRTK
The “TRNC 4th Five-Year Development Plan” meeting took place today at the Nicosia Concorde Tower. This important gathering was attended by President Ersin Tatar, President of the Republican Assembly Ziya Ozturkler, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz, Prime Minister Unal Üsel, and Turkish Ambassador to Turkish Nicosia Yasin Ekrem Serim.
The meeting commenced with opening speeches at 11:15, delivered by President Ersin Tatar, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Cevdet Yılmaz, Prime Minister Ünal Üsel, and State Planning Organization (DPO) Undersecretary Dural Güçlüsoy.
The vision of the Fourth Five-Year Development Plan aims for stable and robust growth, increased competitiveness, high-value production capacity, sustainable environments, and a healthy, qualified populace with a strong society and international cooperation with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus being essential components.
The Development Plan outlines goals to enhance the welfare and international cooperation of the country, focusing on economic, social, and cultural development that align with the citizens’ values, needs, and expectations. This plan sets a roadmap for progress and prosperity in the TRNC.
