TRNC Local Establishment Bodies By-Election: Headman Election in Lower Dikmen Tomorrow
Tomorrow, the residents of Dikmen/Aşağı Dikmen District in Kyrenia will be heading to the polls for the headman election. The TRNC “Local Institutional Bodies By-Elections” are set to take place tomorrow, with six candidates vying for the position of Mukhtar in Aşağı Dikmen District.
The candidates in the running include Mustafa Cumhur, Tahir Sancak, Levent Efendi, Ahmet Ulutan, Cengiz Topel Ak, and Kaan Güçsav. Approximately 2 thousand voters are expected to participate in the election, casting their votes at 6 ballot boxes located at Dikmen Primary School.
Voting will take place between 08:00 and 18:00, with voters required to show identification such as an ID card, police ID card, passport, or driving license. The election results will be announced shortly after the polls close at 18:00.
