TRNC Umut Association Hosts Mass Circumcision Celebration
TRNC Umut Association Organizes Mass Circumcision Event in Karpaz Region
The TRNC Umut Association recently organized a mass circumcision event for 38 children living in villages in the İskele region. The event, which took place in the wedding hall in Yenierenköy, also included the distribution of gifts to the children.
Erenköy Karpaz Mayor Hamit Bakırcı and TRNC Umut Association President Özlem Dinçoğlu were present at the event and gave speeches. Dinçoğlu expressed her happiness at being able to organize the second mass circumcision event in the Karpaz region, following the success of the first one held last year. She highlighted that the association has been supporting families and children in need across the island since 2014, and they managed to organize the event without any support from state institutions. Dinçoğlu thanked the public and all sponsors who contributed to the night.
Mayor Bakırcı also expressed his gratitude for the event and thanked the organizers. Honorary awards were given to sponsors who have been supporting the association for 10 years, and gifts were distributed to the children in attendance.
The TRNC Umut Association continues its mission of helping families and children in need, and events like this one demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
