A truck carrying 8 new vehicles caught fire in the Damlama area of the Tarsus-Pozantı highway for an unknown reason. The fire, which allegedly started in the tire of the trailer, quickly spread to the light commercial vehicle loaded on the truck and to the cars.
The driver, identified only as M.Ç., separated the truck from the trailer and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade, which was dispatched to the region upon notice.
However, damage occurred to the trailer and loaded vehicles due to the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
