Trump Criticizes Firefighters’ Response to Blaze: “They Were Incompetent, They Couldn’t Put it Out”
Donald Trump, the former president of the USA and current leader of the Truth Social platform, has taken aim at the current administration and authorities in California for their handling of the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump criticized the “incompetent politicians” who, in his opinion, have not been able to effectively combat the wildfires that have been devastating the region. He expressed his disbelief at the destruction of thousands of homes and the loss of life that has occurred as a result of the fires.
The latest situation on the fires in Los Angeles is a dire one, with authorities currently managing four main fires in the city. The largest of these fires is the Palisades fire, which covers 23,654 acres and is only 11% contained. This fire poses a threat to the affluent Brentwood area, as well as other parts of the city.
The Eaton fire, the second largest blaze, is located in the northern part of the city and covers 14,118 acres, with only 15% of it under control. The Kenneth fire covers 1,052 acres and is 90% contained, while the Hurst fire covers 799 acres and is 76% contained.
As Los Angeles continues to battle these devastating wildfires, the criticism from Trump serves as a reminder of the challenges facing the region and the need for effective leadership in times of crisis.
