US President Trump Holds Rally at Capital One Arena, Signs Presidential Decrees
Following his oath ceremony in Congress, US President Trump held a rally at the Capital One Arena sports complex, where he met with thousands of his supporters. Due to the cold weather, Trump moved the parade from outdoors to indoors and delivered a thank you speech to his team and Republican voters.
During his speech, Trump thanked his team and Republican voters for their support, mentioning individual family members and close associates. He also expressed his disapproval of Biden’s last-minute pardons for family members and promised to address the issue further.
Trump criticized the policies of the Biden era, stating that they had taken the United States backwards politically, economically, and in terms of foreign policy. He declared his commitment to bringing back America’s golden age and making America great again.
The President also revealed his intention to pardon individuals accused or convicted in connection to the January 6, 2021, Congress raid. He assured that upon moving to the Oval Office, he would sign a decree pardoning them.

He brought the families of some individuals held captive in Gaza to the stage, stating that these events would not have transpired under his administration.

These decrees aimed to reverse Biden-era policies, including canceling administrative actions, withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement, suspending regulations, and addressing the cost-of-living crisis.
President Trump also announced the removal of the CBP One application for legal immigration to the US and declared his intention to declare a National Emergency on the US-Mexico border to curb illegal immigration.
