Trump Withdraws from Presidential Race, Declares Superiority to Biden
The upcoming presidential elections in the USA have taken an unexpected turn with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis withdrawing from the race and throwing his support behind Donald Trump. In a statement shared on social media, DeSantis stated that he believes the majority of Republican voters want to give Trump another chance and that he sees Trump as superior to current US President Joe Biden.
DeSantis cited Trump’s performance and leadership qualities as reasons for his decision to withdraw from the race in favor of Trump, despite previous disagreements over issues such as the Covid-19 pandemic and Trump’s choice of Antony Fauci. DeSantis emphasized that he had previously promised to support the Republican candidate and that he intends to keep this promise.

Recent polls show Trump ahead in the state of Iowa with 51 percent of the votes and leading in New Hampshire as well. According to the University of New Hampshire survey, Trump’s votes were predicted to reach 50 percent, while his closest rival, Nikki Haley, was predicted to receive 39 percent of the votes. DeSantis, on the other hand, was polling at 6 percent.
