T&T Airport Operations Pays Over 227 Million Turkish Lira in VAT for Ercan State Airport
T&T Airport Operations, the company responsible for operating Ercan State Airport, has fulfilled its agreement requirement by paying over 227 million Turkish Lira in VAT for the 1st semester of 2025 (January-February-March). This payment includes the turnover of the Ministry of Finance.
Emrullah Turanlı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Construction Industry and Trade Company Limited, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting its financial obligations to the TRNC state. He stated that Ercan Airport, with its modern infrastructure, will continue to provide the best service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and efficient travel experience for the Turkish Cypriot people.
Turanlı highlighted the importance of Ercan Airport as the largest airport in Cyprus in terms of volume and capacity. He mentioned that the airport’s facilities are designed to cater to the needs of modern travelers while maintaining a nature-friendly approach to aviation.
The opening of the new airport has led to an increase in passenger and aircraft traffic, resulting in a significant contribution to the economy.
