Turgut Altınoktan promises free transportation to university students
Turgut Altınok recently met with representatives of the youth and sports community in Keçiören. During the meeting, Altınok made some promising announcements, particularly in the realm of sports and support for amateur sports clubs.
Altınok stated that their goal is to make Ankara the capital of sports, highlighting the rapid construction of the 19 May Stadium. He mentioned that the stadium will be completed within 2 years, with plans for international matches to be played in Ankara. Additionally, Altınok expressed their intention to build facilities for federations, social facilities, and host camps in the city. He also mentioned that Ankara will be the location for various international competitions and championships. Altınok reassured the amateur sports clubs present that they will receive significant support, including a cash grant of 250 thousand TL every year.
In addition to the developments in sports infrastructure, Altınok also touched on reducing the water price by 50 percent in the region. He emphasized that despite budget constraints, they are committed to investing in sports facilities and supporting the community’s sporting activities.
