
Turkey aims to become a hub for high-tech innovation

The Ministry of Industry and Technology has announced the upcoming event “HIT-30: High Technology Investment Program Promotion Event,” scheduled to take place on July 26 at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center. The event will be inaugurated by Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and will be graced by the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The main objective of the program is to highlight Turkey’s potential for attracting new high-tech and value-added investments, positioning the country as a prime destination for such ventures. The HIT-30 Program aims to drive technology investments that will propel Turkey into the future and enhance the nation’s technology development and high value-added production capacity.
During the event, key executives from local and foreign companies, foreign investors, and prominent figures from the business world will participate in a meeting where new supports and incentives will be unveiled. Minister Kacır had previously stated that a new High Technology Incentive Program would be introduced to the global community, focusing on investments that promote green transformation, digital transformation, and high added value.
Minister Kacır also emphasized the importance of boosting Turkey’s production capabilities, particularly in sectors like battery and sensor technologies. These developments are expected to attract increased global investments to Turkey, driving economic growth and innovation in the country.
