
Turkey Braces for Rainy Weather: Yellow Warning Issued for 13 Provinces

The country is experiencing rainy weather as temperatures begin to drop, starting from the western regions. The Meteorology Department has issued a yellow code warning for 13 provinces, including Istanbul, Aydın, and Bursa, due to thunderstorms and snowfall.
As the week progresses, temperatures are expected to decrease further in the central and eastern parts of the country. Tomorrow, rain is forecasted in the north and west of Marmara, Aegean, Black Sea, Western Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions. In addition, rain and snow mixed with snowfall are expected in parts of Thrace and the Western Black Sea Region, as well as in the northern highlands of Central Anatolia.
Heavy rainfall is anticipated in cities like Izmir, Aydın, and Muğla. Three metropolitan cities, including the capital, are expected to be affected by rain. Ankara will start the week with rain and showers, with temperatures ranging from 4 to 12 degrees. Istanbul will also experience intermittent showers, with temperatures dropping to 6 degrees. Izmir is currently experiencing heavy rain.
