
Turkey Strongly Condemns Hospital Attack in Sudan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released a statement regarding the recent attack on the Saudi Hospital in Faşir, Sudan. The attack resulted in a significant loss of life, which has been strongly condemned by the ministry.
In the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended their condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and to the people of Sudan. It was emphasized that international law prohibits targeting civil infrastructure such as hospitals. Turkey has pledged to support efforts to establish peace and stability in Sudan.
According to reports from the Sudan News Agency (Suna), Darfur Region President Mini Arko Minawi revealed on his Facebook account that the Fast Support Forces (HDK) carried out the attack on the emergency section of the Saudi Hospital in Faşir using drones. The attack resulted in casualties among the patients in the emergency rooms.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has assured that Turkey will continue to support initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability in Sudan, and will work towards preventing such attacks on healthcare facilities in the future.
