
Turkish Cypriot Dr. İsmet Birgül’s Company Honored in Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition

The Turkey’s Entrepreneurial Women’s Power Competition recently took place, with awards being presented to the deserving winners at the ceremony. The event was organized in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the Union’s Women Entrepreneurs Board, and the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation.
During the event, Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, emphasized that intelligence and success do not have a gender. He stressed that a strong society and country can only be achieved with the strength of women.
Nurten Öztürk, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, highlighted the importance of women entrepreneurs in both the business world and the economic development of the country.
Following the opening speeches, the award ceremony commenced, and one of the notable winners was Turkish Cypriot doctor and entrepreneur Dr. İsmet Birgül. His company, Trakya Private Health Facilities Joint Stock Company, was recognized for significantly increasing women’s employment opportunities.
After receiving the award, Dr. İsmet Birgül expressed gratitude and made a statement to the media about the significance of the recognition.
