Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent organizes Ramadan Sofrası program

The Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent is once again organizing the “Ramadan Sofrası” program during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative aims to provide aid in the form of humanitarian materials and food parcels to those in need.

In a statement released by the Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent Press Office, it was announced that the organization, in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, will be hosting iftar programs throughout Ramadan. This symbolic gesture of solidarity and unity aims to bring the community together during this special time.

As part of this meaningful initiative, iftar meals will be prepared in the Turkish Red Crescent Mobile Kitchen TIR and served to those in need in Nicosia Kuğulu Park. This program is designed to share the blessings of Ramadan with the less fortunate and foster a sense of community spirit.

Furthermore, humanitarian activities will continue throughout the month of Ramadan to support families in need. Food parcels and various humanitarian supplies such as clothing, shoes, and textile products donated by the Turkish Red Crescent will be distributed to those in need through the Cyprus Turkish Red Crescent and other partner non-governmental organizations.

Individuals who wish to contribute to the “Red Crescent Ramadan Sofrası” can do so by making in-kind or financial donations. Donations can be made by contacting the Red Crescent Headquarters at +90 (392) 227 24 25. Additionally, those interested in donating Fitre, Zakat, or food specifications can do so online by sending a text message to 4142 from TRNCCELL and TELSİM GSM operators, or through the 3D Secure system on the website www.kktkizilayi.org.

The Turkish Cypriot Red Crescent continues to demonstrate its commitment to serving the community and providing aid to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.
