Turkish Intelligence Conducts Precision Operation in Sulaymaniyah, Neutralizes PKK/KCK Terrorist Hasan Seburi
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has successfully neutralized Hasan Seburi, also known as Redur Baz, a member of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization. Seburi, who was active in the Pencevin countryside of Iraq and had recently joined the organization from Iran in 2023, was targeted in a pinpoint operation in Sulaymaniyah.
MİT’s intelligence network in Iraq has been actively targeting PKK/KCK members, and Seburi was no exception. After joining the organization from Iran, Seburi was closely monitored by MİT’s field agents, who determined that he was being trained for intelligence collection and reconnaissance/surveillance activities.
Following the identification of Seburi’s location within the organization, MİT organized a successful operation to neutralize the Iranian-born terrorist. It was revealed that Seburi was being prepared for intelligence gathering and reconnaissance/surveillance activities against Turkey, prompting MİT to take swift action.
This operation once again demonstrates MİT’s commitment to targeting and neutralizing threats to Turkey’s national security, particularly those posed by terrorist organizations such as the PKK/KCK. Through its intelligence network and strategic operations, MİT continues to effectively counter the activities of such groups in the region.
